I sampled the piano voice and played it as a virtual instrument in order to access lower notes than are possible on the Minstrel keyboard itself - otherwise these tunes end up being a bit heavy on the upper-mids. Individual drum hits were sampled and processed to allow fresh beats to be built, rather than using the rhythms found on the Minstrel.
